Genesis

Well, I figured I'd have to move on one day, just as parents would anticipate the day their kids would go off to college. By this I mean that I had to move on from xanga for both privacy and the need to start a new page in this book called my life. It's pretty funny flipping through my old xanga entries, and also intriguing to see how much I've grown throughout each year. At times, I can't even recognize my own writing because I was finding new alter egos for myself every year. Hopefully with all of my sage and wisdom from years of hardships, I'll be able to finally settle down on a clean path. Xanga was an outlet for all of the things that ever pissed me off or made me depressed. I guess it was good in a way for me to vent all of it out on my blog, but I've found that it also exposes yourself to the world. Self-reflection is not the only element of blogging, and I'm gonna try to be more lighthearted with this blog, and perhaps even less open cause some things are better left unsaid. I've come to accept that the past is the past, and there is no point dwelling upon it. So this is my genesis, and hopefully you guys will enjoy reading some of my future entries, and maybe even find a piece of yourself overshadowed by some of my entries. Anyways, congratulations to myself for my transition to blogspot and my first entry! =]
